4 Reasons Why Snobbery Continues If Unchecked
• Common
• Excused
• Deceptive
• Minimized

Truth: Snobbery/Favoritism is evil.

Genuine faith causes you to first receive and later give God’s love in you and His mercy thru you.
James 2:8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.

Love expressed to others (love others as you love yourself) is the standard of the indwelling love of Christ in every life of every believer.

John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35)By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

The act of partiality and the law of love are incompatible.
James 2:9 But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

Anyone perfect?
James 2:10-11 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it. 11)For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

Final word on snobbery…
Genuine faith that demonstrates love and mercy and un-favoritism to others is more than a personal desire, option or “good behavior”… It is a command.
James 2:12-13 So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under the law of liberty. 13)For judgement is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Recap…
• Snobbery is a sin.
• It is a big deal.
• We only can love others by the love of Christ in us.

Oh, and by the way…
If you do not show grace, mercy, and love, you’ll get the same treatment on Judgement Day!
Just saying!
