Demon activity is increasing in our world today.
Demon possession is not necessarily a complete control of the entire body but often he control of the mind and spirit .
Demons are disembodied spirits that manifest when it benefits their agenda, purpose to cause the most damage.
How did Jesus deal with those who had a vexed demonic spirit?
• No fear
• Discernment
• Compassion
“Vexed” Spirit

• distressed
• agitated/irritable
• afflicted
• harassed
• shaken and disruptive
Demonic activities/ Evidence of a “vexed” spirit.
1. Evil spirits seek expression in the material, natural world.

3. Evil spirits seek to be unchallenged and normalized .

• Fearful of the power of God.
• Tolerant to demonic influence tat calls evil good and good evil.
Who? What are demons?
Two “theories” of the origin of demons.
1. Fallen angels associated with Satan.
2. Disembodied spirit of a “Pre-Adam” era.
Here’s my thoughts:
1. Fallen angels are not recognized on earth but in heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:10-12, KJV
2. Demons always appear in the earthly realm.
Matthew 12:43-44
3. There seems to be obvious distinctions between fallen angels and demons.
Demons are weak & pathetic VS angels are strong and intelligent.
Demons are violent and vicious VS angels are cunning and crafty.
Here’s what I know:
++Demons are “no good sorry dog face” evil and destructive spirits.
