I know, my God, that you test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. In the uprightness of my heart I have freely offered all these things, and now I have seen your people, who are present here, offering freely and joyously to you.
1 Chronicles 29:17
Giving sacrifices He wants_ pleases God.
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
Hebrews 13:16
- _Self_
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Romans 12:1
- _Praise/Fruit of your lips_
Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Hebrews 13:15

I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you send, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. Philippians 4:18

What if I haven’t been pleasing to God?

If we confess our sins. he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
- _Seek_
And try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Ephesians 5:10
- _Aim_
So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.

Pleasing God is a lonely, less-traveled road that when chosen makes all the difference.
