The Enemy of Potential: Fear of Failure, p. 1

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD. And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.

Psalm 37:23-24 NKJV

Am I living up to my potential?

*Intentional

*Risk

*Regret or Freedom

*Limitations

Everything God has given and continues to give to you is an opportunity .

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

James 1:17 ESV

And opportunity is always the potential to honor Him.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Proverbs 3:6 ESV

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.  – I Corinthians 10:31 ESV

“For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants ad entrusted to them his property.

And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Matthew 25:46 ESV

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your of working so is no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:8-10 ESV

So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.

James 2:17, 26 ESV

 Matthew 25:14-23 ESV

How does the fear of failure (lack of faith) damage potential?

-Refuses responsibility

-Conceals capability

-Avoids accountability
