Judging vs. Discerning

Make sure your judgments match God’s judgments.

Truth: It’s not about withholding the Gospel but recognizing when there’s no purpose other than to trample or devalue truth.  

1 Corinthians 2:14–16

Spiritual insight and spiritual discernment is a gift.

It is not a trophy.

The gift “mind of Christ” is in us not for boasting but for trusting.

So here is challenging advice……

Balance love with discernment.

Remember:

•Christians are called to show unconditional love, but NEVER called to give unconditional acceptance or approval.

Personal opinions should never be a substitute for the Word of God.

Silence is never an excuse not to speak truth in love.

Tolerance And Intolerance:

God is intolerant!!

God is patient rather than tolerant.

Tolerance is a deceptive counterfeit of repentance.

•The Bible says repent of sin. The world says have tolerance of sin.
