Ok, You’ve Got My Attention
You are what you are today by the choices you made yesterday . And what you will be tomorrow will be the results of the choices you make today .
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Galatians 5:19-24 ESV
3. You reap far more than what you think you sow. Galatians 6:8 Harvest/ Reaping Law 1. The size of the seed doesn’t determine the size of the harvest .
2. One seed produces fruit that has lots of seeds . “Any fool can count the number of seeds in an apple. But only God can count the number of apples in a seed.” -Warren Wearsby
4. You will reap a godly harvest with patience and persistence . Reality Check: • Life is hard…..Deal with it. • People are jerks…. Love them anyway. • Things don’t always work out….. Keep moving forward. • Not all prayers are answered….keep praying. • You may be scared….keep believing. • People are hard headed….Keep sharing Jesus. • You get criticized….Do right anyway. • You feel like quitting….. It’s always too soon to quit.
Why?
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10 1.
Because there are moments in life when a door of opportunity opens for a moment .
2. Because you owe a debt to everyone to do good especially, those closest to you- Church Family .
