In Need of a Miracle – Conclusion

You are the God who work wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples.

Psalm 77:14 ESV

Nothing is  impossible  with God.

#1 Sermon

  • God is still the God of miracles in the Bible.
  • Miracle: It’s a God thin!
  • Our position: Believe in miracles and trust in Jesus.

#4 Sermon

  • Seeking after God increases our expectations and preparations for a miracle.

#5 Sermon

  • Waiting in prayer positions us for the miraculous will of the supernatural power of God.

Pastors Points:

  • Miracle; It’s a god thing!
  • Believe in miracles, but put your complete trust in Jesus.

Miracle Mistakes:

  • Our theology conforms to our reality between what we believe and what we experience in our lives.
  • Ignore the things we haven’t seen and remove the responsibility to ask.
  • Our view of God is too small. “How big something looks doesn’t depend on how big it really is. It depends on how far away you are.

Faith and prayer grabs the invisible to promote the visible. This invites heaven into history and eternity into time.

Every rewrite of your struggles and you “impossible” problems is because every prayer is a sentence added to your miracle story.

Principles and Benefits of Waiting

        or

How to wait for your miracle breakthrough.

Principle 1: Remember God’s  character .

Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Psalm 25:8-10 ESV

Benefit:

God is with us whether or not we feel we are moving fast or just marking  time .

Principle 2:

 Rest in God’s strength.

Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Psalm 55:22 ESV

Remember this….

You are not called to stand in your own strength- Never!

But you are called to only rest in Him.

Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.  My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 73:25-26 ESV

Benefit:

We serve a God found in the  whispers  as well as the  waves .

Principle 3: Reflect on God’s present help. But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my  heart shall rjoice in your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me.

Psalm 13:5-6 ESV

Benefit:

When we wait, we  listen . When we hear His voice, we are protected and prepared.

Honest Confession:

God’s presence is often obscured when my ambition over shadows my prolonged rest period.

Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.

Isaiah 30:18 ESV

Principle 4:

 Release your  rights .

Let them be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD driving them away!  Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them! For without cause they hid their net for me;

Psalm 35:5-7a

Benefit:

When we wait, God provides peace and contentment.

Principle 5:

 Reach out to others.

A Psalm of Praise, of David.

I will exalt You, my God, the King,

And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. One generation will praise Your works to another,

And will declare Your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate. People will speak of the power of Your awesome acts,

And I will tell of Your greatness. They will burst forth in speaking of Your abundant goodness, And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.”

(Psalms 145:1-7, NASB20)

Benefit:

When God doesn’t seem to answer your miracle while you wait, invite others, for you might be the miracle God sent for somebody else.

Principle 6:

Rejoice in what’s to  come .

Benefit:

Waiting reminds you that your whole life is a miracle  waiting   for   you .

Final Thoughts:

 Seeing a miracle  inspires  you-

But being a miracle  changes  you!

Two ways to live your life today. . . . .choose one!

One is though nothing is a miracle.

The other is as if  everything  is a miracle.
